UNCW Homecoming 2017

Alumni, students, parents and friends gathered on campus for fun, inspiration and a Seahawk win! In addition to these signature events, over 25 events were hosted throughout Homecoming, such as the College of Arts & Sciences 5K, Etched in Gold, Step Show, Salsa Fiesta and many more.

Student Affairs Reunion

The Division of Student Affairs welcomed student leaders back to campus with a home-cooked breakfast and fantastic raffle prizes as they shared memories with fellow alumni, staff and graduating student leaders.

Alumni Champagne Brunch

Alumni Champagne Brunch

Alumni celebrated UNCW's history and learned about programs taking us into the future with the College of Arts & Sciences, Cameron School of Business, College of Health & Human Services and Watson College of Education. Hands-on displays and a kids' corner paired well with the complimentary brunch and provided fun for the entire family. View a message from the deans that was shared during the brunch.

Homecoming TEALgate
Saturday, Feb. 4

Homecoming TEALgate

Hundreds of Seahawk fans met under the heated tent on Hoggard lawn for a pregame celebration prior to the men's basketball game. Alumni, families and friends dined on an all-you-can-eat buffet along with delicious treats from three different food trucks while they enjoyed games and children's activities, like face-painting and inflatables.

Homecoming Basketball Game

Cheers to a fantastic Seahawk victory over Delaware! During halftime of the Homecoming game, the Homecoming King and Queen were crowned and the UNCW Alumni Association 2017 Distinguished Alumni Awardees were honored.

African American Graduate Association Luncheon

AAGA Luncheon

During the annual AAGA Luncheon alumni enjoyed a complimentary lunch and the opportunity to fellowship while hearing from current president LaTasha Jones '04, '16M, current student and scholarship recipient Charla Jeffries and Chancellor Jose V. Sartarelli.
