At UNCW, employee giving is a year-round opportunity for faculty and staff to support the university through meaningful donations, time and advocacy. It’s a way to connect your passion with student success and campus initiatives — on your terms. Specific campaigns like GivingTuesday, Seahawks Give, and Excellence in Flight are just some of the ways you can participate in employee giving.

Absolutely. Every gift counts. Even modest amounts — like $5 or $10 per pay period — can fuel innovation, scholarships and campus-wide programs. It’s not just the amount, but the collective support from everyone that amplifies impact.

Yes. UNCW has over 2,000 funds donors can support. From student scholarships and college initiatives to research, sustainability efforts or community outreach, your gift can go where it matters most to you.

• Payroll Deduction: Payroll deduction is one of the easiest and most impactful ways to give back. Simply choose your gift amount, complete the payroll deduction form, and your contribution will be automatically deducted from each paycheck. It continues until you choose to change or stop it.
• Monthly Giving: Monthly giving is just as simple and flexible, but allows you to use your credit card, debit card or mobile wallet to make your gift. Using the online monthly gift form, select your monthly gift amount, and it will be automatically processed each month — no need to remember deadlines or reminders.
• Planned Giving: Learn about gift planning through your estate or beneficiary designations.
• One-Time Gift: Donate online via our secure giving portal or by check.
