On November 28 the Seahawk community contributed more than $88,000 during #GivingTuesday to support students, research and programs across every area of campus.
Highlights from this year’s #GivingTuesday include:
- 178 alumni who made a gift
- Seahawk athletics raised more than $27,000
- More than $32,000 was given to enhance UNCW endowment funds
- 52 gifts made to support academic departments
From the Marine Mammal Stranding Program to the Kenan Performing Arts Center, Randall Library, the Hawk’s Harvest student food pantry and more, giving through UNCW is a transformative way to invest in passions and secure the future for tomorrow’s Seahawks.
