For the 10th year, the UNCW community rallied together for a successful Seahawks Give. On April 4 and April 5, 1,692 donors, including alumni, students, parents, friends and employees, showed their support during the annual tradition.

In support of Seahawks across campus, an initial total of $261,533 was raised, bringing the 10-year total to more than $1.8 million.

This year, Seahawks Give kicked off with a special event in the Fisher Courtyard featuring a student club and org competition, t-shirts, food, plus a surf simulator open to all. The Service Dog Training and Education Program (STEP) earned an additional $250 for winning the competition with the Reformed University Fellowship (RUF) taking second and $150 and the UNCW Men’s Ice Hockey Club claiming $100 for third place.

Each gift counted towards Like No Other: The Campaign for UNCW and its ambitious $125 million stretch goal to support students, faculty, facilities and programs on campus.

Thank you to our dedicated alumni, students, parents, employees and friends. Without them, these results would not be possible. Through philanthropic generosity, the Seahawk experience is like no other and will continue to be for years to come.
